Purpose of the maintenance:
Regular cleaning of the filter can prevent unnecessary chemical wastage and help to filter pool water more efficiently.
Maintenance Process:
Dissolve one teaspoon of ALGA-SHOCK P in a bucket of warm water. Remove the filter insert and place it in the solution. Leave to stand for an hour or two, then rinse thoroughly with a strong jet of water. Put the filter cartridge back in place.

The purpose of maintenance:
To eliminate unforeseen problems at the start of a new disinfection method, it is advisable to clean the pool thoroughly.
For pools in continuous operation, it is necessary to periodically change the water and thoroughly clean the piping and the pool area.

Maintenance procedure:
Step 1: Removal of greasy deposits with DINASAN P: After using the whirlpool, the cleaning agent should be added to the used water to be drained. For 1 m³ of water, 200 g DINASAN P is required. If possible, the chemical should be added directly to the equalisation tank or skimmer. If dosing by skimmer is not feasible, dissolve the granules in 5-10 litres of water and add directly to the pool water. After dosing, run the water pump for about 5 minutes and allow the product to work in the water for at least one hour. After one hour, run the pump again for 2-3 minutes. Then drain the whirlpool and rinse with clean water! Warm water increases the cleaning effect!
Step 2: Disinfect the entire pool and piping system with ALGA-SHOCK P: Fill the pool! Add 50 g ALGA-SHOCK P per cubic metre of water (up to 1-2 tablespoons). Move the water with the experience elements to mix the product well! Allow the chemical to act for at least 2 hours and then drain off the entire amount of water. (If you do not wish to drain the pool for economic reasons, wait until the chlorine level has decreased. DEWAN®-18 and ALGA-SHOCK P neutralize each other in the pool water, so if you want to get your pool back in use quickly, you can add DEWAN-18 even after shocking, but expect to need to use significantly more disinfectant to establish the initial concentration.
Step 3 Check the filter, remove inorganic impurities (e.g. scale) with DINAX FILTER CLEANER, and replace the filter cartridge if necessary. Remove the filter cartridge after shock treatment of the pool water! If it is very worn, replace it! If you see that replacement is not yet necessary, rinse with running water (e.g., shower) and spray the filter cartridge evenly with DINAX FILTER CLEANER, for which you can buy a spray nozzle separately in our shop. Allow the product to work for half an hour, and then rinse the filter cartridge thoroughly. If possible, the treatment is more effective if the filter can be placed in a container of approximately the same diameter as the filter and soaked in FILTER CLEANER for half an hour. After thorough rinsing, replace the filter insert! If you have used a spray nozzle, rinse it too! After step 3, the pool can be used again, depending on the disinfectant level.
