Removing leaves and flower petals that fall into the water requires extra work, and it is important to get as much direct sunlight as possible on the water\u2019s surface. Even in sunny weather, the pool water will reach swimming temperature in a few days without separate heating.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MAIN DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>accessibility <\/strong>of the pool<\/li>\n<li>the design of the <strong>machinery room<\/strong> attached to the pool<\/li>\n<li><strong>the size of the machine room<\/strong> (the operator or technician must be able to fit inside),<\/li>\n<li>the location of the necessary utility connections (electricity, fresh water supply, sewerage).<\/li>\n<li>a separate tank for the backwash water of the sand filter is recommended, so that this water does not have to be discharged into the sewer and can be used for watering with a separate pump. Attention! The backwashing water requirement of the sand filter is usually an order of magnitude greater than the amount of water flowing through the sprinkler head. If the backwash water is used for irrigation, the sand filter cannot be perfectly cleaned!<\/li>\n<li>it is important to ensure that the pool can be covered with solar film in summer and at least black film in winter<\/li>\n<li><strong>storage of chemicals: <\/strong> chemicals for water treatment and tools for cleaning the pool (e.g. underwater vacuum cleaner) must be stored. In most cases, this can be done in the engine room. If you have an automatic chemical dispenser (e.g., DINAX GENIUS), place the disinfectant and pH adjustment ballons there. Remember that both disinfectant and pH adjuster are hazardous substances, so keep the balloons in a so-called damage containment container to prevent spillage in case of failure.<br \/>\n<em>When sodium hypochlorite and acid come into contact, chlorine gas is formed, which can have fatal consequences!<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>WATER TREATMENT:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The treatment of water in outdoor pools is basically the same as in indoor pools. The most important thing is to adjust and maintain the water balance and to keep the right level of disinfectant at all times.<br \/>\nTo adjust the water balance, it is usually necessary to reduce the pH of the water. Recommendation: DINAX MINUS F or DINAX MINUS P For disinfection, LONGLIFE DEWAN-50 without chlorine is recommended for health-conscious users, but liquid chlorine (DINAX CHLORINE F) or liquid chlorine combined with chlorine dioxide additive (DINAX CHLORINE F WITH DIONADOX addit) can be used, or chlorine tablets (BLUE SUPER TABS, STABILE KLORIN) for smaller pools.<\/p>\n<p>The dust load and, therefore, the algal spore load in garden pools is much higher than in enclosed spaces. This is indicated by the opalescence of the water and the flattening of the pool walls. If nothing is done, the pool water will soon turn into an opaque greenish &#8220;puddle&#8221;. To prevent this from happening, or to stop it once it has already happened, use a process called shocking. In this way, the level of the disinfectant (ALGA-SHOCK P) is increased many times over in a short time, which kills the algae so that they can be removed from the pool with a vacuum cleaner after settling. If the level of disinfectant remains high, the desired level can be easily adjusted by using the Zero Chlorine.
